Libraries & Museums
Provide fantastic, often free, introductory maker experiences. They are vital for sparking initial curiosity.
The Shop (Idea Forge)
Offers the next step: a dedicated space with more advanced tools, in-depth education, and a membership model for those ready to commit to deeper learning and long-term projects.
Specialty Studios
Serve artists and crafters with a deep focus in one specific area, like pottery or painting.
Signature Projects & Initiatives
Beyond our core offerings, we pursue unique, community-focused projects that leverage our members' skills for the greater good.
E-Waste Upcycling Program
We plan to establish a collection point for electronic waste. Our members will learn to safely disassemble, sort, and upcycle components for art projects, repairs, and new inventions, while responsibly recycling the rest. This reduces landfill waste and creates a valuable resource stream.
Status: Seeking corporate partners for equipment donation.Community Mesh Network
Leveraging amateur radio licenses (HAM) and modern hardware, we aim to build a resilient, open-source telecommunications network. This project provides invaluable hands-on learning in networking and infrastructure, with potential applications in emergency communications and bridging the digital divide.
Status: Initial research and tower site analysis underway. Our Guiding Principles
